This is Only a Test

This is the demonstration blog for "Murmurs Drawn," a free Blogger template by Lauren Thompson. This post serves to display the various text styles of the template. To download this template visit the template post on Nymphont.

The colors used in this template are inspired by a palette I made on ColourLovers.com called defuse. Shown below is a pattern made from the palette. To view the palette click here, to view the pattern click here.

The image is included to demonstrate the post summary script. The script is included and requires no editing (though may be modified to suit your needs) and is set to automatically use the first image in a post as a thumbnail. The thumbnail is scaled to 200x200 pixels by default, so you may create an image specifically in that size for each post, or let the script grab and scale the image for you. If no image is included in the post, the script will simply only display the beggining of the post entry text as the summary.

Personally, I love blockquotes, I find them very useful and use them unconventionally in my own designs. I encourage others to do so as well.
